East Carolina Case Management (ECCM) focuses on the patient/client to provide services to help the patient recover from an illness or injury to help him/her recover to the greatest extent possible, return to or continue with gainful employment to benefit both the patient/client & society as a whole.
ECCM focuses on the positive aspects of what the patient/client can do, using a positive practice approach to recovery & life in general. ECCM uses an individualized assessment to develop & implement case management plans to meet the needs of the patient/client & referral source. Integrity, sincerity, professionalism, empathy, organization, & pro-activeness are the core components essential to the East Carolina Case Management process.
